So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you. Take your everyday, ordinary life – your sleeping, eating, going-to-work and walking around life – and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don’t become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking.  Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what God wants from you, and quickly respond to it.  Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

               —Romans 12:1-2 (The Message)

Never really loved women’s ministries and events? Leave these past experiences at the door. At FHCC, we celebrate the relational aspects of our wiring as women while challenging each other to grow in God’s word and wisdom. We’re real women, dealing with real issues and pursuing real change together.

Bible Study. Join us this fall as we dive into the book Warrior Chicks, by Holly Wagner. The lessons, which deal with how we navigate daily challenges, are accompanied by homework that’s easy and application-oriented. Starting on September 14, this 6-week study is offered in identical sessions on Mondays at 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM (with childcare in the morning only). Just visit the information kiosk or email us to sign up for this study and request fee information.

GNOGirls’ Night Out. Mark your calendar — the third Friday of every month is Girls’ Night. It’s our time to get together and learn something new while having a blast! Our next Girls’ Night is October 16, at 7:30pm. We will meet at 7:00 PM at Jim’s Place Grille, on Houston Levee in Collierville. Reservations required: email info@fhccmemphis.com
